Altitude: 7,650 ft

Drive through scenic mountain roads via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag. Arrive at Lohajung, the base camp, by evening.

Start with a gentle descent towards the Neel Ganga river, cross the bridge, and climb gradually through a mix of rugged trails and small settlements to reach Didna Village.

An uphill climb through dense oak and conifer forests that opens up into the massive, sweeping alpine meadows of Ali Bugyal, offering stunning views of peaks like Trishul and Nanda Ghunti.

Altitude: ~12,550 ft (Bedni Top)

Walk across undulating meadows to reach Bedni Bugyal and the sacred Bedni Kund (glacial lake). Climb further up to Bedni Top for a breathtaking panoramic view of the higher Himalayas before heading back to camp.

Drive: 45 mins to 1 hour

Descend steeply through thick rhododendron and oak forests down to Wan village. From Wan, a local vehicle drives you back to Lohajung.

Drive Distance: ~250–260 km (8–10 hours)

Morning drive back along the same mountain route, arriving back in Rishikesh by evening.
